The location is great, with lots of meal choices nearby. The staff were friendly and the rooms were comfy enough for our needs. Just be prepared for basic amenities. you might want to bring your own soap and shampoo.
Unfortunately, the check-in process was a bit of a mess. We had to wait for a long time due to system issues, which was frustrating after a long drive.

The staff provided excellent service during my stay. They promptly addressed my request for a business center setup, making my work tasks more efficient. The staff member found it amusing, which felt unprofessional. The elevator had garbage inside, and the hallways looked neglected. My first room smelled heavily of smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. I got a new room on the first floor that seemed cleaner until night fell, and roaches started scaling the walls. It was horrifying, and I stayed up with the lights on all night, unable to sleep. Overall, I felt uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave.

The kids loved the pool area, and we enjoyed parking right outside our room, which made unloading and loading our luggage a breeze. The location is perfect for family adventures, just a short drive to local attractions like the campus of Christopher Newport University.
My kids wished for a better breakfast selection next time.

My stay in the King Room was pretty decent. The bed was comfortable, and I really liked the customer service—they helped me switch rooms when mine smelled like smoke. The air conditioning worked well, which was a plus. Breakfast surprised me, with fresh fruit and oatmeal options. However, the first room was a bit off, just didn't smell right. All in all, I had a solid experience for the price.

not much to rave about
The location was nice, with lots of meal choices nearby. Our room had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a microwave. But the place didn't feel clean. There was some water damage in the bathroom and the carpet was a bit questionable. Staff was friendly enough, but the maintenance could be better.

Service with a side of chaos
Found the staff friendly and eager to help. The location was prime, situated near great restaurants and shops.
However, check-in was a frustrating ordeal due to system errors, and the room was less than clean with stained furniture and dusty corners.

I had a pleasant stay where I enjoyed a clean room and a good cup of coffee from the lobby. The lounge and pool area were nice spots to unwind. A slight downside was the lack of breakfast options, but overall, I'd recommend it for a cozy visit! ☕

I had an unpleasant experience during my stay. The shower did not work, and it took hours to get a response from the staff. When I finally got assistance, they handled it poorly. I expected better attention to detail, especially since I'm used to a high standard back in Rome.
The room was not clean and there were maintenance issues.
